Holland America Line is hosting an all-day Alaska Cruise and Travel Show.

The free-to-attend, culturally immersive expo will be in Vancouver on Saturday, 14MAR, 2025, at the Vancouver Convention Centre. And will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The expo provides locals dreaming about an Alaska cruise vacation an opportunity to learn about the best ways to experience Alaska with Holland America Line. Attendees can meet the people who bring an Alaska vacation to life, take part in gold panning and axe throwing, and enjoy live presentations and demonstrations. Guests can book their cruises with trade partners in attendance at the event and take advantage of exclusive offers or take the offer to their local Travel Agency to receive the promo. Guests must have been marked attended to take advantage of the offer.

“As our two main homeports to reach Alaska, it’s important for us to showcase to Vancouver and Seattle locals how we’ve built a program providing more opportunities for glacier viewing and more ways to see Alaska’s wildlife than any other line,” said Bill Fletcher, senior director, of consumer programs for Holland America Line. “Once again, we’ve brought together a collection of authentic Alaska experts who can answer questions and demonstrate the many splendors of the region.

Attendees who book a Holland America Line Alaska cruise or Cruisetour at either show will receive a special offer of reduced deposits and onboard credit.

Shore excursion team members will be on-site at both shows to discuss the diverse array of options in Alaska. Attendees who have a Holland America Line Alaska cruise booked and are able to access their account can book tours at the event. Scheduled for the Alaska Cruise and Travel Show presented by Holland America Line:

· Lumberjack Will “Buck Randy” Randall is a star in the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show in Ketchikan, Alaska, and oversees the lumberjacks as Jack Boss of the camp. He will demonstrate axe throwing, and attendees will have the opportunity to test their own skills.

· Just like the prospectors of the Klondike Gold Rush of the 1800s (that put Seattle on the map), attendees can pan for real gold at the Gold Dredge 8 booth and perhaps take home an authentic nugget.

· Holland America Line’s chefs will perform cooking demonstrations in Seattle, showcasing some of the authentically Alaskan dishes served on board.

· Discover tips on how to watch wildlife and enjoy nature on a cruise with a Holland America Line onboard expert who will showcase one of the top reasons travelers choose Alaska.

· Play a game of Pickle Pong in anticipation of playing a game on the ships’ full pickleball court, available on every Alaska cruise.

· Learn about the Alaska shipboard experience, including Glacier Day programming, destination-centric dining, entertainment and more.
